Mission Statement
Paws and Purrs Rescue, INC. in Rochester, NY, is an all volunteer, not for profit animal rescue organization dedicated to saving the lives of cats, dogs, and other small domestic animals. We will see to it that any animal we take in receives the needed medical attention and is placed in a loving foster home until they are adopted into a permanent home. We WILL NOT euthanize unless health issues necessitates such a decision and by New York State law. All of our animals are spayed/neutered and receive age-appropriate vaccinations before adoption. Cats/kittens are combo tested for Feline Aids/Feline Leukemia and dogs/puppies are tested/treated for heartworm disease as needed.
